RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)

Purpose: The RCIA program is a class for those interested in becoming Catholic.  This program is also open to people who desire to learn more and deepen their Catholic faith.  RCIA classes center on teaching about the Catholic faith, its beliefs, doctrines, practices, and traditions in a loving, caring, welcoming faith community.  For many, this process leads them to seek full membership in the Catholic Church.

Membership: St. Thomas More parish shares an RCIA program with the parish of Holy Cross.  The core team consists of the pastors of these two parishes, St. Thomas More parishioners, Paul & Lorrie Reed, who act as chairs, and a dedicated core team of deacons and laity who provide additional support.

Meeting Schedule: Sessions are held weekly on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-9:00pm, September through Easter.
